Location

The 2nd International  Congress of Iridology will take place at the “TITANIA” Hotel, 42 Panepistimiou str., in Athens, the capital of Greece, on February  24 -25 -26  2012 under the auspices of the University of Athens.

The Congress aims at the innovative searching attempt for the appreciation of the cognitive content of iridology, as a science that it is incorporated to the sciences of the environment in the area of biology-physiology and the wide sector of Sciences of Treatment, Neurosciences and Learning

The annual conference of Iridology will be established as an institution that aims to make an innovative attempt to use the cognitive content of iridology, the exchange of points of view among scientists and the transmission of the latest concepts in the field of iridology. There will also be workshops to help young health professionals to improve their skills.

Please, anyone who wants to participate as a speaker or trainer in training workshops to state the issues of their speeches.

Kourouklis Vangelis (Medical doctor) was born in Athens and spent his childhood on the island of Kefallonia. He studied medicine in Bulgaria, received specialty in Pathology - Anatomy and then was trained in Iridology in Moscow. He has worked in the hospitals: Saint Savas, University Hospital of Ioannina, Sotiria, Apollonian Hospital in Heraklion in Crete, and as an individual doctor. In recent years he was engaged with research in the Iridology field. He is the author of books: "History and philosophy of Iridology", "Introduction to Iridology", "Clinical Iridology" and "Applied Iridology" which will be released soon.

Kastrinakis Leonidas (Physiotherapist) is a licensed Health Care Professional with extensive education and experience in the field of Chiropractice and Acupuncture. He has completed several Osteopathic, Natural Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation courses and he is also a Certified Iridologist.  Mr Leonidas Kastrinakis has graduated from Technological Education Institute of Lamia, Greece,(Department of Physiotherapy) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. After his graduation was trained  in Chiropractic diagnoses and treatment methods in Sweden in the Ackermann College of Chiropractic and received a Chiropractic Diploma. He also got  Diploma in Acupuncture from the Hellenic Medical Acupuncture Society and Hellenic Scientific Physiotherapy Society (EEEF). He is member of the: International Acupuncture Association of Physical Therapists (IAAPT), American Back Society (ABS), Pan-Hellenic Physiotherapy Association, World Confederation of Physical Therapists (WCPT), Hellenic Scientific Physiotherapy Society (EEEF), Hellenic Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, International Institute of Sports therapy and Aetiopathy in Belgium, Hellenic Physiotherapy Society of Algology (EFEA), Pan-Hellenic Society of Iridologists.
